Permanent Makeup (PMU) is unlike cosmetic tattooing of the past. It is micropigmentation of the skin to enhance your appearance by mimicking makeup such as eyeliner, lipstick, or brows. It is also used for camouflaging, mimicking hair, or even creating nipples for those who have undergone surgery. PMU uses cosmetic ink that is vegan and does not contain heavy metals like traditional tattoo ink. Here at Advanced Esthetics LVC, our PMU artist specializes in Nano Brows, Lip Blushing, and Lash Enhancement Liner. These services use a universal rotary machine. There is no blade cutting the skin. The results are more durable, less damaging to the skin, and are suitable for all skin types.

Nano Brows

Nano Brows enhances the appearance of your natural brows. The technique used ensures the shape of your brows by mapping out the structure of the face to create a symmetrical full-brow look. The pigment is implanted in the skin with a universal rotary machine. The technique used can mimic thin hair-like strokes and/or shading throughout the brow. Results last up to 3 years. There are different styles that Nano Brows can create:

  • Full Nano Hair Strokes: this style mimics hair-like strokes throughout the entire brow.
  • Combo Brows: the perfect balance of both hair strokes and shading. There are three styles to choose from (Bold, Hybrid, Soft).
    • Bold Combo Brows are hair-like strokes in the beginning (head) of the brow with shading throughout.
    • Soft Combo Brows are hair-like strokes throughout the brow, with light shading
    • Hybrid Combo Brows is a perfect balance of both.
  • Powder-Ombré: also referred to as just Ombré or Powder Brows is a powdered effect that gradually softens at the head of the brow to create a soft makeup appearance that can be adjusted to your needs.

Lip Blushing

Lip blushing is the technique of enhancing your lips by adding color. It can correct a small amount of asymmetry or can be used for lip restoration. The color used is chosen specifically for your lips. If desired lipstick of your choice can be brought in for a color match. The healed results take approximately 4-6 weeks and can last up to 3 years. The Lip Blushing technique can also be used for the Neutralization of hyperpigmented lips.

Neutralization: this is a technique that is done to camouflage the appearance of melanin-rich lips and/or hyperpigmented lips. Specific colors and techniques are chosen to neutralize the tone of the lips to lighten them. This procedure does require multiple sessions to achieve the desired outcome, especially if the lips are very dark in color. Healed results take approximately 8 to 10 weeks.

Lash Enhancement Liner

Lash Enhancement Liner or Lash Liner is a technique that implants pigment on your lash line to create subtle definition. This gives the illusion of fuller-looking lashes. Results last up to 3 years.

Restrictions apply if under the following conditions:

  • Under 18 years old
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Diabetic, must consult a doctor
  • Thyroid medication will make results fade faster, but we don’t advise discontinuing your medication.
  • Viral infections and/or diseases
  • Epilepsy
  • Chemotherapy, must consult a doctor
  • Visible sunburn, rash, irritation, or acne on the treatment area
  • Actively on Accutane or within a year of ending your treatment
  • Lupus, psoriasis, Seborrheic, dermatitis, or rosacea
  • A pacemaker or major heart problems
  • Had an organ transplant.
